Getting data embeded into a picture

how do you get the artist name and copyright info embeded in the picture's info. saw this on other picture info and would like to get it on mine.I am shooting with a XTI.Thanks:confused:

Do you mean owners name?

With the EOS utility that came with your camera you can enter your name in the camera so it will be imbedded in the file as well as camera serial number and other relevant exif information.

Or do you mean a copyright text that is visible on the photo itself when viewing? If latter then it is added with photoshop or other photo editing software.
