The following examples were taken at the Indian World War Memorial in Indianapolis. I am trying to improve my seeing skills as well as composition, exposure, I guess I need improvements in all aspects of photography. As a lurker I have found your comments to others very honest and educational. Here are a couple of examples:

If you want me to be picky
The first shot: I find that line of smoke (possibly a plane) on the right side extremely distracting. Other then that I think its pretty nice.
Second: Its crooked, not too hot about being so centered. The sky looks really good in this one. Some cropping will really help this one.

Aylwin, Thanks for making the photos show up, what did you do? The links were fine in my preview.
Persion-Rice, Thanks for your comments. I may try to Photoshop the jet trail out of the first picture. On the second, I had not noticed that it was crooked but now that you point it out I do. I will straigten and try some cropping.

I agree with Persian-rice, the smoke line is a bit distracting. But I really like the way you composed it. Its a good example of leaning buildings used effectively.

Not sure how you got your links or why it was fine in your preview but the url format for PBase images is www.pbase.com/image/30144161. All you have to do is add .jpg at the end and that's it.
