I have some advice on the editing if you're interested. The shots are pretty cool.

Rather than going totally sepia/grey in the background, I think you should try letting a little bit of the 4 color come through. It would help to make it look not so stripped in, but still have an artsy look to it. Just try it. I think you'll like the effect.
