ordered d60 from b&h photo on apr. 29 on the waiting list by phone it arrived at may 31. started shooting with the quantum turbo battery as soon as i took the wraps off d60. wow its great.

ive been using a mamiya 645 and scanning hundreds of prints was always a pain. after i saw a few 8x10 and 16x20 prints from d30 and d60 i could not wait to go digital.

with a 512meg cf card and the bg-ed3 battery grip it will shoot for a long time. last friday i did a model shoot. if you like to see smaller files go to www.austinphotonet.com login with password elisabeth

ill post larger images on my site if you like to see. after applying 150% unsharp mask in photoshop you will see so much detail in every shot.

thankx for all the comments on this forum it helped me find a great setup.

Just curious as to how far you can push a battery without using the BG-ED3 grip with the second battery. On my first venture out with my D60 I was able to shoot 100 pics and fill a 256 CF card and then transfer them back to the computer without recharging the battery. I just ordered another battery from Adorama, but not sure if I will need the BG-ED3 or not. By the way, the pictures of Elisabeth look great. I enjoyed looking at them.

havent tried the single battery. ive filled the 512m cf card about 200 shots without battery problems. once the camera kept shutting down and i thought im out of battery but the problem was the grip was loose and wasnt making contact.

posted some large d60 images you can download from here.

Do you have any other model's galleries available besides Elisabeth? I would love to see more of your work!
