Ok I am hoping too start working for restaurants, stores, catering companies and so on -(advertisment shots) . Now I know I have a long way to go, this is one of my first attempts, would love some comments critique, tips and any info of the sort.

Here I shot at about 30 seconds at f18 on auto wb fine tuned d towards blue pink, and painted the back of the bar with a q-flash (ran around firing it) - there is barely no post processing except for some basic raw adjustments and a small perspective transform. what do you guys think of the result? any suggestions on getting better images? is the color acceptable or should I go fr getting a better white balance?

thanks in advance.

WB is way off, I think it needs to be warm but this is too warm. Apart from that, I like it.

I think the WB is off too, but I wasn't there, you were. Next time try a WhiBal card or generic and clone it out later.

Otherwise it's really a good image. IMHO

Good idea and seems well enough exposed, but white balance is off. Makes the place look one tone of brown - maybe that is right?

You can fix the white balance in Photoshop. It would probably look better if it was shot at a higher angle to hide the ceiling more and show the countertop of the bar.

thanks for all comments guys, yes with the tungsten dimmed lights and all the wood the place does look a bit brown, but it would be better to get some different collors like on the bottles and such, thanks for all the comments.. how does composition and overall quality of image looks like to you pros and amateurs out there? am I on the right path?

the tweak looks was better then the original, wayy to much of a color shift to make bar owner happy.

dont think you'll need to shoot at f18, try like f8 and half that exposure. longer its opened, more the color will shift.
