Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my s45? I have a dark spot in all pictures...same location...see arrow. It is not on the lens.

If it is not ON the lens, then perhaps it is IN or BEHIND the lens (but not on the CCD.
Try looking through the elements of the lens under bright light. Do you see a small speck. Likely a speck of dirt or black paint...
If the camera is underwarranty, march it right back to the store (with a couple of sample prints.)

It could be 1 of 2 things:
1. your lens has a black particle on it, so wipe it off.
2. your CCD has grown a fungus (this happens on film cameras as well),
you have to send it to canon for cleaning.
