Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my s45? I have a dark spot in all pictures...same location...see arrow. It is not on the lens.

Dust on the sensor?

Shouldn't happen with a fixed lens camera, but what other explanations would be applicable?

it shouldn't happen on a Fixe Lens Digital Camera, but there is a possibility that it could. I would recommend sending it in for evaluation and cleaning. I really couldn't think of any other problem that could result in those dark spots except for dust on the sensor.
