Status Quo - Classic Pose

Here's one I did the other week....

Shot at ISO1600 using 24-70f2.8L on my 1dmkIIN and a very small amount of fill flash using diffuser on a 580EX.

i think the spot on the left overpowers the shot a bit, esp if the guitarist on the right is the intended main subject.

Quite like it but would think the classic pose is a fullbody shot with the guys standing next to each other rocking back and forth only the Quo boys can. Can'ts tsand their music, personally. I think every song sounds the same.

Yes it was at the bash. I'm not a lover of their music either but was working. The so called press interview was 'interesting'... lol

On a musical front I preferred Hells Bells if you were there. Got some great pics of them and the music was awesome.

Ah yes, I've got that pose too, they seemed to like standing like that on the drum riser facing backwards too.

I've been to see the original band and now the tribute and they are very good.

Yes understand what you mean about the bash, I managed to avoid the massive tailback on the M40 on the way home, which was closed between jnc 10 and 13 after the 'event'.

Got picked up at Heathrow in the afternoon. We had to take other roads back.

Wish I was going to patriot games but am busy packing.

I like the shot, but would (try to) crop it a bit (tilted) to loose the blue in the bottom right and mic in top right.
