Hey someone not using DSLR!!! I have been lurking about for a week, it does nothing for my lense envy! I checked out your pics on your flickr page as I am from HRM as well and the one that got my attention was your waterfall with the blurred water. I was recently in Jasper and Banff and had been researching the cotton candy effect but was discouraged as it appeared my S2 IS wouldn't do this as the Fstop range wasn't large enough. Was it your filters that helped you accomplish this?

Beautiful scene.

The colors seem a bit "washed out" to me though - I would like to see this a little darker (-1/3 ec perhaps) and I would like to see it posted larger.

By the way, before getting my dSLR I had an S2IS and it was a great camera.

This picture makes me want to go fishing! Are there trout in this river, or salmon? I assume so, since its NS.

This isn't really a river.

Converted railroad to nature trail. It is basicly a bay in the Atlantic with some salt marshes.

I too would like to see this image with a bit 'o colour boost but I also must say that the image colours as presented look pretty accurate for this area. The trees around these salt marshes just don't get much of a lush green look to 'em. LOL.

Great image. I like it. Makes me wanna go out and walk that trail again.
