Hey Guys and Girls!!!

I'm a new member, I've been reading you for a while and defenitelly learned a lot from you, thanks a lot.

I've bought some of my gear according to your oppinions, but i'm still just an amateur.

I want to ask for settings on fireworks pics, can somebody help me?, this is going to be my first attempt to photograph fw, and my wife and myself expect a lot from the lovely DR.

Thanks in advance,

ERamos

Welcome to the best forum for Canon photography equipment on the internet!

In a nutshell, set the camera to bulb, the ISO to 100 and the aperture to f/11 or so. Hold the shutter open for a few bursts and then shoot another frame.

Here's a link with a lot of other links on how to photograph fireworks:

minolta A-1 ( wanted 28-200) no need for filter adapter and now 10d
so far i only shot jpeg the largest image available on the camera
need to learn the raw thing try the fine tuning wb , color adjustments,
as far as the other eos like controls i have a pretty good hold on those as an eos film camera person good luck need to find the links for the
nuances of wb and color adjustments , in the past i shot mostly in TV or
program I do not use the picture functions. ( thats for P&S users)

Here's a fireworks shot that I posted a couple days ago.
