I have no idea what kind of flash this is, its been sitting in the basement for a few years. I'm hoping it'll do an ok job with my rebel for now until I can afford a nice flash. My rebel was shipped today from amazon. It's coming fromy KY and I live in Ohio but it won't be here until thursday since they stop all transit tomorrow and monday ups said. :\

It may work if it fires...doesnt look like anything close to an EOS type flash so...i'd say no.

maybe you shouldn't use it until your sure the voltage is compatable. hang tight, and someone here will be able to help you.

It is not a compatible flash and will possibly damage your camera due to incompatible voltages. I wouldn't use it.

If it works and all and doesn't do harm to the camera, it still won't take advantage of the automatic metering capabilities of the camera. I don't think I'd use it.

Ahh ok thanks guys. I'm not gonna try it since it can harm the camera.

Your particular flash isn't listed, but lots of others are.

Don't trash it just because it won't work on your dRebel... Get yourself a flash trigger and use it as a slave. I have three older flash units I can set up that way, the only problem is the pre-flash from the dRebel will set them off, so you need to hold your exposure for a few seconds to allow recharge.
