Hi,
I am trying to use an A30 to take series of photos. (50 to 100) with remote capture under difficult light conditions. I am finding that about 10 to 20% of the photos are out of focus.
Focussing is fine when the camera is used normally but not under remote capture. Part of the problem may be the less than optimal light conditions. The problem would disappear if I could use the AutoFocusLock with remote capture. But turning the mode dial immediately unlocks the focussing and I can't see any way to lock it when using remote capture.
Does anyone know whether it is possible? If so how?
It seems strange to me that having provided an AFL that it is not possible to enable it when using remote capture, when someone is likely to be using the camera under difficult conditions and need it.
