empty RAW files

we had a big fireworks show on the 3rd here, i took some pics to see what i could come up with, shot in RAW format, a lot of the RAW files are like 7kb or 5kb and contain no infromation...anyone know why? i remember a simlar thread but cannot find it

Are you sure those weren't the .THM files? They tend to be about that size, and there is one for each RAW file.
