Been playing around with some shots from a recent music festival in my home town.
Taken during the afternoon on a reasonably sunny day so no moody lighting effects.

Great shot!
Feels like you've bumped the exposure a little too much in post processing but apart from that it is a great shot!

Nice shot ... but why would anyone want to raise funds to support Rap? I'd lean in the opposite direction.

likewise I dont like the pp but the reflection in the shades and detail is incredible.

Thanks for the comments.
It's not really about Rap, it's a charity to provide chances for youth and music.
The detail in the shades was pretty cool 'cos in the full size shot I can see myself taking the pic.

Great portrait! Love the grain. Mind sharing how you processed it?

It has a feel of somewhere between photo and artwork. I'd be curious of the PP too

I'll have to get the exact instructions later as I wrote them down and can't locate the bit of paper right now, but basically I used one RAW file and saved 5 versions of it at different exposures, then I merged them in Photomatix to produce an HDR tif file.
I imported the tif file into photoshop CS2 and ran several filters on it, desaturated, sharpened a couple of times a bit of diffuse glow, a little added noise, although there was a bit there already as it was ISO 400 or 800.
I'll post the process when I locate it but if you Google 'dragan effect' there are some tutorials on getting this similar effect although without the HDR process I used first. Sadly, the processing isn't really original to me, just tweaking & playing about with someone else's.

I like the reflection in the glasses, but the 'HDR/Tone mapping' is way overdone IMO.
Apart from that it's a good image.

Double the reflection comment...cool to see the crowd in the shot, so it's not just a guy with a mic. I would guess you were going for this look (PP wise), and if so it came out really good! Very stylish...

That reflection really makes the shot. PP isn't my taste, but still a cool capture.
