I baked bread for the first time today. It's absolutely heavenly :) So fluffy and delicious. I'm going to be making it a lot more often!

Supporting us swedes I see. (The box mix got the Swedish flag on it.)
Looks delicious. Is it like cinnamon roll in loaf form? Looks familiar but its been a while since I had any Swedish baked breads.

Haha of course :) I'm even learning to speak swedish (started about a year ago)
The bread mix is great because you can make it into sweet bread or regular bread. I chose to make this one normal and put big sea salt crystals on top to bake. I had a couple pieces toasted with cinnamon and it tasted amazingly.

Oh really? Lets here some, practice it. I only get a chance to speak it to my parents on the phone once a week, hubby don't speak much but I think he understands a lot more than he lets me believe. :p
Never seen it before, the mix, where did you get it?
I thought the sea salt crystals were pearl sugar, it looks just like it so I figured it was some sort of cinnamon bun bread. Man....now I have a cravign for it, see what you did!
And IKEA is 4 hrs away (my supplier of Swedish foods at the moment). LOL

Haha well I kind of put the brakes on the Swedish a couple months ago. I figure that if I learn German first, it will be much easier. The pronunciation is killing me, which is funny since I already speak three languages. Someday! :)
I would not be a happy camper if the nearest IKEA was 4 hours away lol. I got the mix at Meijer in the international aisle. They have just about everything there.

German...Bah..swedish is better. ;) LOL J/K.
Yeah my hubby's got issues with pronounciations also, he fusses about the rules of some of the letters don't stay the same, it bends and changes sound depending on what other letters are in the word. He gets frustrated, fun to listen to tho nontheless, esp since he picks on my English at times - its fun to pick at his Swedish. :p
IKEA is too far off but that's what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere, no one here is interested in IKEA so we'd have to go to another major city to find it. Don't have Meijers either, hubby was in one 2 weeks ago on vacation, if I had known I would have had him pick some up.
