Hi all, I am new here, and trying to start my first thread, and may be quick introduction - photography is my hobby, I have Cannon EOS 20D, and my largest and latest lens is Cannon 100-400mm. I take photos of everything moving or not moving, and my latest specialty is birding, and slowly entering the boundries of the outer universe, that is I started with moon shots.
Hope all is well with you and hope to start a real talk here, I probably will have many questions about photography, and may be I just sit and read all posted threads in here :lol:. Anna :)

I am really happy with Zenfolio - it is very inexpensive and has a lot of features (plus easy to use). Pointing your own domain name to it is easy - they have some instructions on how to do that.

It does not allow you to set custom pricing on your photos - so if you want to sell your photos, Zenfolio currently isn't your best bet - they say it will be coming, but not right now.

I will check out anyway. I am not really planning to get to the selling stage yet, I think I need some more experience, plus there is a lot of competition going out. Anway, I will check it out, I really liked your layout. Thanks for the info, and I will see you around.

You photograph the backsides of birds? I guess you had some seed money to start and all you're being paid is chickenfeed. Let us know if your business takes flight.

lol, will let you know - But the problem is I am not that attractive so they usually fly away, it happens with animals too. Try to photograph the golf game, you will get either side or back shot also. I tried the front once, almost got hit lol. Not taking that risk again, even with the birds....
