#3 - Mims looks like he's performing in front of a group of people who could care less if he's hot or not.

Bring back Public Enemy!

Any more of T-Pain? I think your set is pretty good, considering you say that this was your first time doing this type of thing. I always have a hard time with these, because not only are their mics blocking their faces, but their fists are too.

The crowd sure doesn't seem impressed. Then again, you don't either. :-)

The hardest part was trying to chase them around the stage! LOL As for me not looking excited, i just had that "im cool" look on my face!! LMAO

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Nice one! Just crop it in a bit to get rid of some of the distraction on the top and right, and you've got yourself a stellar shot. Not only is the mic not blocking his mouth, but he's SMILING! What a grill. :-)

And I figured that was your "I'm cool" look - it looks a lot like mine. :-) Haha.

I agree with Grey56 that the last shot is much better without the eating of the microphone bit. I will admit that rap artists DO seem keep the mic tight on their faces a lot of the time.

Besides the mic issue, nice energy from the performers and nice crisp shots.

Thanks guys! Now that i've learned how to do this type of shots, im dying to do some more! LOL The only bad part is you take 100 photos to get 3 good ones.

Say Brandon,

Nice shots...

Do you know of Teresa Burrell (Soprano)? She sang some sound tracks for movies in the 1970's... Was a national winner of the Roberta Peters Music Scholarship... Went to Jamaica HS (1965-68 ) in Queens, NY...
