First HDR-Train

First time playing with photomatix. C&C always welcome
1) straight HDR

2) Photoshop crop and lightly wrapped in plastic(that's about all I know how to do in PS is use filters!)

I dunno, I'd have not cropped it and not "filtered" it. I would also desaturate it.

ok so the first one needs desaturation. How are those people getting thier pictures to look like drawings/cgi?
