First flash

Hi,

Been into photography for a couple of years now (mainly landscape), want to get a flash though mainly for bouncing off the ceiling. Is it worth getting a 430? or would a cheaper 3rd party suffice? And if so which one?

I bought the 430 last year...been pleased with it but have gotten mroe serious with my photography and wish I had the 580. But for about 250 US dollars...you can't go wrong with the 430.

I would suggest the buy once method: the 580EX. It's expensive, but you probably will have enough power for that type flash.
