C&C very welcomed!

Slight PP applied: framing, sharpening, signature + little adjustments in Canon software before converting from RAW to jpeg.

Very nice for the nifty. Keep working at it. I love miniatures (I can't spell either). The last one's dof is amazing. Did you manual focus that one?

Thank you! :)

Surprisingly, no manual focus on any of the pictures above nor on any of the ones I still haven't processed (~40). Of course it took it many tries to get the right focus but it did! Some of the shots may have some blur, I was shooting in AV so the timing hovered at around 1/40th due to dim museum lightning, not good for shaky hands :)

I like the composition of the lion shot even though his head is dead center but I think its lacking something. It might be too much going on and a little too deep a DOF. I'm not sure.

I love the last two miniatures shots! Those are just great. The DOF is very effective there and I like the choice to bo B&W on the first chair shot. The second almost looks like a sepia tone even with the natural color.

Nice work!

I like the third one and the miniatures. The first one is ok, with the exception of the reflection.

This looks like the 50mm is a fun little lens. I really like the black and white in the 5th picture, and the background of the third photo makes it look very dramatic.

Really nice stuff. If I could have changed anything, I would have foot zoomed out more on 3, so that the statue had more of the frame to look into. Great work with the nifty, but be careful with it, mine dropped out of my gearbag, (about 6'') and broke in 2. :(

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. All are always welcome, negative onces even more since those make me improve :)

I went to the Art Institute of Chicago again today and shot more. What fun is this little nifty fifty. I totally recommend it to anyone.
