Two different shots both called "Friends"

I took these two yesterday at our local show. I think they both show friendship. What do you think:

Two great images Phil - I really love the second one, I never seem to get the lighting right with horses :( - the first I feel could do with a boost - possibly contrast, as it looks a little flat on my monitor?

NICe!!!

I know you can't do anything but the trailers on the background are very distracting....it ruins the mood for me.

The 2nd shot of the horsies are nice too.

#2 is great. Just wish it was easier to see that the one on the left was indeed a colt.

I really love the second one too, its a beautiful shot. But I think your monitor may need calibrating, as they look a little flat in color on my screen too.

Your top photo would have been much more pleasing if it had shown
the two girls in animated conversation or doing something everyone can
associate with friends.

I would like to have seen the bottom one expanded to include the girls
talking or laughing.

They're both beautiful pictures.
