Tether the Only Option?

Hey All,

I have a MBP and in studio I would like to be able to push my shots in real-time to my MackBook Pro. Is the only option to use a tether to the Macbook's USB port?

I would think by now that there would be a wireless option that won't cost an arm, a leg, and maybe a kidney.

The 1D Mark III, 1Ds Mark III and the 40D all allow you to tether the camera to the computer wirelessly. The unit that allows you to do this is priced somewhere from $800 to $1000.

Ouch. For wireless technology I think that's a bit much considering other wireless tech that's out there. :-(

The 20D, 30D, 1D IIn and 1D III also have wireless adapters available.
