Hi, going to a concert tonight. What are the best settings for this with low light, no tripod, no flash...

Fast leses...preferably primes...depends on the distance you'll be...just choose your focal lengths.
f/2.8 or faster.
Just my .02

A little vague, but overall use something fast and wide. Spot meter and focus on the performers. Try to get the whole guitar, bass, etc. I have no idea what your idea of low light is but seems that when I shoot low light concerts around here I am normally at 1/20 -1/50th @ ISO 250-400 and shoot multi burst. Oh and shoot RAW.

Oh, and shoot manual...maybe Av Mode...

I'd say kick up your ISO as much as needed...clean 'em up later with PP...

Thx for the input. My lens selection is limited. I'm a novice and only have the 18-55 kit on the XT, which I think works great, the 50mm 1.8 and a 55-200 EF.
So should I go with the 50?
