This is some of the first images that I have taken. Any critique at all would be greatly appriciated as I really am a total 'newbie' no matter how obvious you think it may be, just say it.

Be brutal, I can take it, will only help me.

Thanks for taking some time and looking at these. :)

Most are 'Photoshoped'. I am not sure what information to include about the images, so dont hit me if I leave something out. =P

(note: picture quality is slightly degrated due to saving limitations)

OK the first is of my younger brother, as he grouches on the floor.

Too much pictures for me to offer a good critique.

I will pick my favorites though:

The 2 last one and the 2nd one........in that order.

The others are merely snapshots in my book that doesn't evoke any strong emotions. sorry.

i find f the most interesting
that one may be improved if taken from the left side where the bud is more developed
you might experiment with F stops on the flowers use a bugger f stop to get more in focus
the levels on some need work some spots are to bright
keep it up...

i agree. Try two pics at a time. With that aside, i like your work. The first one is a great shot, along with the angle.

The flowers were good, and i loved the saturation on them. The last pic of the flower didnt compare to the previous ones.

The clouds did creat mood. I liked how you exposed for the background(sky) rather than the foreground to create the black landscape. i noticed some blocky pixels in the sky, did you make the orignal pics bigger??

bravo......

Thanks for your comment. I would have to agree, except I like the first one also. The others are simply me trying to get a half-decent technical photo. Thanks :)

I shall do, I am just starting to learn about F stops. Thanks for the advice I will try that out next time I'm out with my camera.

I'm still not sure about the flowers, some people have been saying that I used way to much saturation and others say they like it, heh, I'll have to fine a happy-medium I guess. If you click the clouds they lose their blocky look, the originals are much larger again.
Thank you for your comments.
