Hi folks... popped in at the local folk festival for an evening. Didnt shoot too much because i really enjoyed the show but here are some captures to share. Thanks in advance for critique/comments

Some good shots here. Like the light in 4, expression in 5 and general capture in six. The light in one is really harsh and 2&3 have their mics jammed in their mouths, but are well exposed. Well done!

Yeah, the mics in the fice really caught my attention in 2 & 3, especially #3.

But overall some really nice captures.

i'll look out for that in my next outing ! move around, diff angles so as to not make mics such a distraction. thanks guys for feedback.

Fantastic. gotta love them Amos guys! I think #7 is my fav. Do you know any of the guys in Amos? I just noticed you shot them at the Blues fest too.

Yes. I met the lead singer. Great dude. Been following them in any gig/fest I have time to go to. Awesome music.

What kind of PP is that on the first image - guy playing the congos. I like it. Looks like a tad of Lucis Art.

dont know what lucisart is.. i started out with a lightroom preset that i downloaded which basically desaturates a bit and adjusts curves. then i just started playing with contrast and some more curves in shadow and highlights. trial and error. i usually dont pp like this but it somehow caught my attention for this specific shot with his dark muscular build... perhaps not to everyones liking though.
