let me know what you think. i would really like your input since I am still a beginner trying to learn. thanks!

all pictures were taken in Mendocino, a few hours north of San Francisco and on the Avenue of Giants, a 31 mile stretch of redwood trees.

Very nice work, I love the colors in your photos. I think #4 is my favorite of the group. Personnally I find the birds in #1 distracting.

Nice series! I've been there before. Great place! The birds don't bother me, but the people in shot two and three don't seem to add much. Maybe if they were more prominent and had their arms outstretched or something it would work.

Beautiful pics. I really like the composition of No. 4 but it looks like you laid on the saturation bar in photoshop a bit too long. I've been experimenting with longer exposures and neutral density filters for moving water, so you get that cool cotton-like effect. A longer exposure on that one might have given you that. They're all great, but I personally like the redwood shots the best -- perhaps because I've tried to shoot them with sunlight streaming through and have never been able to deal with the high dynamic range. Keep shooting and show us more!

thanks for all your comments guys. for some reason, on these set of images i didn't really increase saturation too much. a lot of it probably came from the tone mapping in photomatrix.

any criticisms would be greatly appreciated since I am really trying to improve!
