i can't find the thread but here are 2 pix where a CP filter does work
the thread was talking about an article that they said the CP filter doesn't work with digital
well show them this

yeah, I dont know, I have used my cheapo filter a couple times and it works fine, though quality wise the layers are separtating.

I think he's talking about a circular polarizer

well show them this
A circular polarizer wouldn't work with digital? That's nonsense... why do "they" think it wouldn't work with digital? Or were they confused with the following: linear polarizer filters don't work on auto-focus cameras, because it confuses the AF system - on an AF camera, you can only use a circular and not a linear polarizer.
