Nice shot, but would have been nicer seeing him on a flower or something other than the pavement. Also, you could have gotten a bit wider to see the wings, since they are so colorful.

But still nice capture.

Thanks, cgratti. I agree it would look nicer if it were on a flower or plant but...the museum sort of frowns on folks handling the live butterflies. :)

Also, I cropped the rest of the wings off because they were either outside the DOF or the butterfly decided to move them at the precise moment I took the shot. Anyway, they were not quite sharp.
