Lightroom Printing

I'm trying to print in lightroom but my photos are coming out either too dark or under saturated. I'm using an Epson Stylus Photo R340. I've turned off color management in the printer and set the lightroom color management profile to StylusPhotoR340Series.
I know this is a hard issue to troubleshoot over the net but any help would be great.
