Hi Guys

I just downloaded Fotomagico Pro on my mac and I am not sure what size to convert my RAW files to in order to create a DVD slide show for TV viewing. I just did a DVD with JPEGs with a width of about 20cm and 200dpi, which seemed to be OK, but I really dont know if this is is too much or too little. Anyone sussed out settings for Fotomagico yet ?

Regards
John

Use your files full size. That is one of the huge advantages of FotoMagico. The program will automatically scale the images upon export depending on what application you selected; web, iPod, DVD.

Thanks Rick. Considering it was my first attempt, it seemed to work fine, but its great to know I dont need to get hung up on file sizes.

How long does it take to make a slide show on this program? I am looking for a quick simple way to make a slide show for a client.

Its really easy to use and it can be as quick as you want it to be. Provided that your images are all ready to go, you could very easily put together a basic DVD slideshow for a client and burn it to DVD in 15 mins. Obviously for a more refined look you may wish to spend longer polishing the show.
