I want to make a Web-Galery of my pictures. I do have several tools to do this but I'm not satisfied with the results and I don't like to put each picture to my homepage (to much work).

So I'm looking for a professional tool to do this job. The main thing is to select a picture (thumbs) and to display the real picture centered of the displayed page without scrolling.

Any ideas ?

Any ideas ?

Here's a pretty cool tool that's actually pretty easy to set up and use:
http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/

If you want to see it in action on an average website, look here:
http://www.lassiterlbc.org/gameshots/playoff-h/

Hope that helps....
And if you don't like that, I've got a couple more ideas for you ....
But check that out first ....

It's true that PS can produce a web gallery. But I really only suggest you use that if you lack the time or skill to use something else. Not that there is anything wrong with those gallerys. It is just that they are functional and that is about it. Really not very impressive at all, but they do get the job done.

Ceclic's link is pretty groovy. I know that I am gon'na take a closer look at that myself.

Here's a great free tool.

http://jalbum.net/

Works well and has many different themes.

If your server supports PHP I'd recommend Pekka's ExhibitEngine

Here's a link to a sample (my test site); it has a link to the tool at the end of the "news" column.

Easy to use, intuitive navigation, professional appearance

I use this one myself:
http://albumcreator.firmtools.com/

Has several templates and is very easy to use. If you buy the pro version you get all the themes that they make for free.

This page was one of my first ones so it's not that good.
