I'm sure you know you had some focus and light issues, but that tree coming out of the side of the hill is really cool! If you don't have a hood on your lens, you should try and put your hand over the top of the lens to block the light. Looks like a fun trip!

Nice SV and a well used Aerostich. I also have a blue SV 03.

Was there someone with you that took the pics or tripod? Just curious i do alot of motorcycle trips also.

I was on the GSXR1000 and my buddy was on the SV650; I did all the picture taking (free hand). So, most (all) the pics are not of me...

I really wanted to ride with this guy; he is kind of inspiring for me. He lived on the East Coast as well as myself and kind of in the same area I grew up in. He is from Mass and I'm from Upstate NY. We both moved here around the same time; however, he got to do what I planned on doing. He rode out here on a motorcycle taking 4 months to tour the US and got his adventure published in a magazine. I AM SOOOO ENVIOUS that I had to go on a ride with him! He doesn't ride much anymore, on the street; he only runs at the track now.
