Hi kids,
My name's Rich. I bought myself an S200 about a week
ago, and I must say it is the cat's meow of cameras.
This is one very nice piece of engineering.
This is my first digital camera, so I have much to learn.
The manual is pretty good, but I'm also looking for
alternate information sources. Especially regarding the
manual mode of operation. So far, I've discovered an
affinity for taking shots at night, sans flash. I'm also
looking for PC software to control the camera and
manage my images. The stuff that comes on the Canon
CDs is (IMHO) amateurish, to say the least.
Would any of you know of any great websites for
learning about digital photography in general, and the
ins and out of the S200 in particular? I'm a bit of a geek,
so the more technical the information, the better.
I'll check back here for responses in the next couple of
days. If you prefer, please email me privately at
nirvanah-boy@sympatico.ca.not.this.bit.you.moron.
Thanks for helping me out, and best wishes from
glorious Montreal... home of *the* best summers in
the world. If you haven't visited yet, you should.
