I am trying to get better at shooting concerts. Changing light conditions and shooting around the people so as not to bother them. I just got my newest lens and hopefully will get better shooting with it. It is a 70-200, 2.8 IS L.
This forum is great, I have been reading and picking up tips from here.
Thank you all! I work at a performing Arts theatre and take all of our pictures onstage and the meet and greets.

Welcome to the board.
Although it's hard to coordinate the positioning with several people in a shot, the mic in the face in the first one is a little distracting. But I like the the shot with the 4 of them together. I like your shot from behind looking out at the theater, looks like an interesting venue. With that one it would have been nicer if you could have avoided the foreground stuff (guitar head), either by getting higher or moving left or right.
Looks like your venue offers some of the same challenges I face in the theaters here in terms of a seated audience right up to the stage and trying to stay out of the way. I find that I can use the aisles pretty well as long as I take a knee and don't just stand in front of them. I also usually request a row 1 or 2, inside aisle seat in the outer sections. I can usually do pretty well from there with minimal distractions. From your photo, your theater might offer some interesting angles from those balconies.
