A first for Donington Park as they held the British Motocross Grand Prix at the weekend.

I have to say I found this harder to shoot than the faster machines of the MotoGp bikes as not only are the bikes moving across the frame but also the suspension is moving rapidly vertically. Is there a prefered way to take this type of shot? only I found myself using faster speeds than I prefer.

All taken with 1DMKIIN and 100-400 lens

Nice shots.
Try panning them through the whoops at 1/50th for an exercise in frustration :D

I shoot MX, And I find the slower shutter speeds tend to produce great shots, But not to many keepers. I tend to panic and go for the sharp high shutter speed shot..:)

Amazing what good exposure can do. All look well balanced. Nice.
