I spent the weekend at Croft Circuit in the North East of England for the Dunlop Great and British Festival. The sun shone for a (very pleasant) change and made the weekend all the more enjoyable. It was also nice to meet up with Peter (Petrolhead), Geoff (GSH) and Ian (IanH) from the forum over the course of Saturday.
Enough waffle, on to the pictures.
#1 Just to prove I was at Croft, here's Martin Wallbank in his Vauxhall Astra VXR with the (in)famous Croft bus in the background.

#2 They might not be proper Minis, but they are more than a little photogenic!

#3 The Northern Sports & Saloon Car guys again provided the highlight of the racing over the weekend. Here Robert Pritchard leads the Class A, E & F runners in his mighty Vauxhall Caterham.

#3 The Radical Enduro runners were also very photogenic, but the racing was not massively exciting. Very quick cars around Croft though.

#5 The Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup is a great concept. Hopefully the next time they visit Croft there'll be more than 7 cars...

#6 More Mini One's, this time coming through Hawthorn.

#7 More Radical racing, this time though the smaller engined Prosport of Bill Henderson.

#8 I'll finish with one of the best presented cars of the weekend - the SEAT Cupra of Andrew Morrison. He was running in the NSSCC Class B, C and D race and won it comfortably.

All of the pictures were taken with a 1D mk II and a Sigma 120-300 f2.8, one or two with a 1.4XTC as well.
As usual, any comments or feedback would be most welcome.

Cheers,
Simon.
