Although he seemed perfectly OK after the accident I had forgotten about this picture until I downloaded, not sure if anyone else caught this where we were stood, in fact there was only me and some of the POTN people I had just met.
How would I go about tracking the fella down, not even sure what class it was and even if could deduce that by time I can't get my hands on the programme till weekend as my van is in for service ( and lowering :) )

It was taken at the Oulton Park Gold Cup weekend on the Sunday, I think !

Looks like Historic Formula Ford. #56 would be Alan Fairbrother in a Merlyn MK20 courtesy of the HSCC site http://www.hscc.org.uk/Race%20info.htm :)

He ended up in the gravel at Brands a few weeks ago. I fear he has issues keeping it on the black stuff.

I have a few of him on the wrong side of the kerb at Lodge, this accident started a bit earlier than he expected I think, have the full series so I thought he may like to see them !
Thanks for the link GSH, will take a look when I get in from work !

Wouldn't that be a bit like offering a baseball player a shot of him striking out?
If that's the intent of finding him.

Not sure what striking out is, guessing you mean fecking up ?
As an ex racer myself if anyone had pics of me binning it I would be glad of the pics, in fact I have always bought any pics offered when racing or trackdaying, as a rider I felt it helped to improve technique.
In anycase all I wanted to do was offer the guy some shots for nothing, he has enough to spend his cash on right now.
Before the pros get on about ams offering stuff for free, well its hardly up to pro standard is it !
Sorry rant over, I have had a bad day :(

Some drivers like to see shots of themselves getting it wrong and some don't. I've sold many a shot to drivers of them spinning out or ploughing into the kitty litter.
Since I don't recall any pros being within camera shot when you took that one I hardly think you're taking food out of anyone's mouth by offering them to the driver.

We call it rounders over here. It's a game played by schoolkids who grow out of it by the time they reach the age of 10 ;)

Found the Brands shot. Told you he had a habit of wandering off line.
