I have had a problem just recently with my photos from my gallery being ripped off. Does anyone know a way to add prevent this (ie watermarking or adjusting size)?

Check out Digimarc ImageBridge:

I'm sure that those who try to use photos without permission do not care about any watermarking either. After all you can easily prove now that you are the owner of the photo because you have original files (that is why never ever put originals on _any_ server on internet).

My opinion is that those who steal should be always sued.

Do you have any details who has used your photos and where?

I have put a ton of effort in this.

I have great samples at http://www.wood-apple.com/foto.htm This is the stuff that keeps people from getting your Photo to start with.

I have basic watermark samples at http://gallery.wood-apple.com Check this out. Dose not protect the down load of the photo or use by some one else but better than nothing.

mholzapfel,
Dynamic watermarks aren't better than static watermarks. Even though right-clicking is disabled, I can still screen cap (Print Screen key, then paste into image editor) several successive images, and then use the parts of the images that aren't covered by text. Albeit troublesome, it is still a lot easier than trying to completely recreate the missing parts of an image covered by solid text.

Furthermore, it is much easier for the layperson who knows little or nothing about scripting to put up a static image on a website.

I also agree about never putting the orginals online.
