this was for my school paper so I guess you can consider it pj work. maybe just people...but anyways, got to use my new hotshoe flash sync cord. fun stuff. here's some shots I like. what do you think? and which photo do you think got printed for the vball preview story? oh which btw I wrote as well...gotta make money somehow :-P

Ryan, nice shots. I'd toss number three since it hides the subjects faces but the rest are great for the purpose. Number one is the money shot. However, if I may offer one bit of advise for the next time. Use a higher ISO so as to include more of the background. A bit of noise wouldn't show enough to hurt in shots like these since they will be printed on newsprint and printed small. Crank it up to 800-1600 if necessary, expose for the ambient and let the flashes ETTL mode handle the subject.
