Here one of the MkVb without company. It is amazing that 'they' keep these old warbirds flying and even pulling tight turns etc stressing their old airframes :)

Nicely done. Great to get an angle that highlights the elliptical shape of the wings.

Thanks, the one thing about all airshows I think is that the pilots try to please the crowd and make sure their flightlines within the limitations of safety show off the planes to best effect. And though the light was very harsh & I was too far off the middle of the 'line' this one (and I hope a few more) are OK.
Incidently the amount of "smoke" the aerobatic groups were pouring out has ruined (?) way too many potentailly good images  of their own showing efforts.

Really nice shot. As for the condition of the airframe, I'd venture to say that with today's maintenance technology (borescopes, etc...) these old birds are in as good a shape (or probably better) than the day they came out of the factory.
The fact that any of them survived the war at all is testimony to how well they were built originally. There isn't a warbird anywhere today that is being subjected to the kinds of stresses and strains that they went through while dodging lead. ;)

Thanks, yes a great British product and a tribute to the origins and history associated with them.

Thanks, also for the insight into the 'technology' aspect and fair comment about the relative stresses they are now put to compared to their "action" days.

Very nice! I like that it was banked towards you, allowing you to shoot the top side. ;)
