thanks David, as for a close-up this was a grab shot with my 17-40. I just liked the way she is leaning on the door frame having a chat.

Hi kenny the image looks fairly bright on my LCD, perhaps it's more difficult to compensate for different monitors with b&w....trying to remember what my previous CRT was like. i like the common theme throughout the four shots; kind of a rustic, rubble, cobble-stony kind of feel. i would like to see some close ups of specific elements - such as a macro of a cobblestone - interspersed with these wide-angle shots to give the "texture" in these shots a little more depth. you are very lucky to have this beautiful landscape to work with.
