So I was reading about protection of images (so other's can't steal your work) and seeing as there is no sure way to protect your images, there are methods to slow the process down. I really like the water marking idea, and I was thinking if a feature that would water-mark images could be implemented into EE. I noticed that Imagemagick has an option to either Annotate an image (place text over an image) and also an option to Composite an image onto another (one image could be your logo).
Since the functionality is there in Imagemagik, I was wondering how difficult of a task it would be to implement this?

IIRC, there is (supposedly) also work taking place to add this capability to the GD side of the graphics stuff... someone posted watermarking code that works very well... its just a matter of time before it gets worked into EE...
