View Full Version : Best online service to sell/distribute portrait prints?

I need to distribute professional quality prints of portraits that I have taken at a wedding. Since I don't want to focus so much time on printing, can anyone recommend a good online place to present and sell my photographs? I noticed Shutterfly had a professional gallery package starting at $100/year. I don't mind paying for a service that will handle the transaction and printing. My other criteria is that I am looking for a place that can arrange for multiple 'private' online galleries (by invitation only) since I may be doing more weddings.

Thanks,
Ken

I'm looking for a good site myself, You may want to look @ the following
http://www.digiproofs.com/
http://www.pictage.com/
I've heard good things about pictage but I'm doing more homework on the subject. Please post when you make a choice

Thanks for the leads. I probably cannot use those services right now because my volume is very low, but I will keep them in mind for the future. Currently, photography is not even close to being my profession, but I need something a step up from just the ordinary Ofoto/Shutterfly posting service...something with a little more professional printing. If I use the Shutterfly pro gallery, I'll post my experiences here.

cheers!

I use printroom.com and haven't had any complaints yet. They have a neat program you can download to help manage your sales.
