Wow, I really like this. Nice composition, only thing I dont like is the motor on the back of the boat kinda spoils the feel of the image.
Where about's in Scotland was this, looks like it could only be somewhere in the west!:)

Thank you very much.
I agree with you, that motor making it something unwanted, but what to do.
about the place really i don't know, but i met a photographer there in Inverness and he took me to those places, i think it is in the Highlands, and i heard him many times mentioning Inverapolly or Ullapool.

Looks nice Tareg. Have you tried changing the Color Space to sRGB to see what it looks like?

In fact no, i applied many pp on this shot and i liked this, there are another editing i like but i didn't feel interesting to do more, and i was going to ask when i open my photo in photoshop, it looks brighter and different.

The sRGB will boost the saturation levels a bit, best for web viewing.

I will check that later, but i thought that with Adobe RGB i can get more range of colors which will be either more accurate or more vivid or better.

I wish if Adobe did put an icon in PS so with 1 click it will fix whole the shot with exposure, contrast, saturation and sharpening, and if more then NR as well, in this case i will shoot anything and let PS do the job;)

I don't think the original will be so different than this but later i will post the original one and hope you can do something to the original itself better than i did.

Next time i will be sure the boat is full of wood as classic style and nothing modern like a motor on it.

Tareq,
I don't care for the HDR. I really like the non-pp shot. I did a quick crop and used a Luminosity Mask(s) to lighten up the shadows, added a bit of saturation, added a Warming Photo Filter and some sharpening...

Hi Mike, thank you very much
Nice pp, thats why i posted different shots including the original, i don't hide any secret so i don't shoot something then post it after manipulating alot to make it so amazing and show others that i am excellent in taking photos, while the original is not that perfect.

Yeah, me too, now i should learn more and more on post processing photos to fix it and get better photos, seems not only shooting but even workflow is important and part of the photo too.

Nice image Tareq. As far as the current edits go, I went a different way.
I persoanlly don't like the edit toooo much, but thought I would post it anyways.

I like all editing, in fact i enjoy any shot with pp or without pp, HDR or non HDR, just with original it is unlimited methods of pp.

i like the shot because it is taken in my vacation, i enjoy to take shots of everything when i go for holiday abroad, and i don't care if my shots are good or not, and i open the door for processing my photos to see how it will perform, and i know many pro do pp on their photos for "perfect look".

Motors on boats is really a fact of life in 2007.
Great picture the boat adds interest to the foreground, TOP SHOT.
Enjoy your holiday.

I think this image is the best i took so far, i have many more shots from this place and another place also so interesting, but i am worry if i post something else maybe it will not be so nice or interesting like this one specially if i don't do good pp on them before i post, i can't post all the time asking people to pp for me, then i am sure even the shot is great they will not feel interested to do pp for me.

I like the shot, w/o the motor. But even though it makes it look "cleaner" it makes something "missing". Maybe an ore? Why would that nice wooden boat be in a lake that is so nice and have no way of moving?
But like many others have said, great shot, motor or not. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

Nicely framed and a good exposure.

I love the colours and the composition, but there is a line on the base of the boat that is really distracting me, I know theres nowt you can do bout it but thats the only thing I dislike bout it, nice one.

I am not a good photography.
I am so curious to see shots from that photographer i was with from there to see how much difference between me and him [sure my shots will not come 1/4 of his shots, but i hope i did very well, he is experienced and i am still learning].
