Perhaps because I know this cat it just looks incredibly cute to me. I think that cat shots are hard to do well, but I might have done OK on this. I have another one shot on the same burst that does not have blown whites, but the cat look hidden in her shadows. I chose this one, because - I think - the blown whites do not detract.
Any thoughts?

Brilliant picture in my opinion. The white is crisp and clear and I love the detail on the face of this furry little creature. It really conveys how wonderful this cat feels on a sunny afternoon, basking in sunlight and waiting to be caressed...

first off....
nice capture!!! I like the cats expression and position.
second off.......
I noticed the overblown highlights right away. a tad distracting........but this scene is difficult to meter without this happening so........
good capture all in all.
