Battery Charger Q for the Rebel XTi

Hi,

I just got my 1st DSLR yesterday and am wondering if the battery charger (CB-2LW) that came with it will automatically stop charging when the battery is full - or, will it keep charging endlessly, damaging the battery?


Can any of you that have the Rebel XTi let me know?

Doh, I think I just found out. The charger changes from amber to green when done charging. Since the battery was not warm when I checked it, I assume it stopped charging.
