That is the most unusual shot of a flame that Ihave ever seen.
I assume that you were on tripod and that any motion would be due only to the flame.

interesting and im not against the image, but without an object(candle lighter) i find the soft movement without purpose, and the wick isnt sharp either, maybe a composite shot would work better, shoot the wick sharp then shoot the soft flame and overlay, food for thought :)T
