The first was the original picture I took...not bad, but the colors weren't so hot and the sky was completely burned out as it was VERY bright in the sky but much darker by the field. I stole the sky from another picture and put it in, played with the levels on the field and stands (mostly increased the blue to go with the sky) and added the frame. I think it looks a thousand times better than the original.

Any comments, tips, suggestions, critiques?

For my taste the stands look a little too oversaturated. And the foul ball post is definately in the way. I would be trying to clone that out before I did anything else.

I want to compliment you on the addition of the new sky. Very well done. Best of all is that you paid attention to the sun angle in the new sky relative to the rest of the photo. That is the single most important thing in sky replacement and the fact that you took that into consideration makes that shot look real.

What Rad said, verbatim.

But the clouds still look a little funny to me. I think that I'd like to see big big puffy clouds almost obscuring the sky, or clouds like you have but more of them so that they have perspective as they get further away.

I guess that the current clouds don't match the perspective. You can easily feel that the opposite side of the park is far away, but the clouds have no depth to them.
