Just curious because I'm ready to see how it fairs against being thrown off a building...

1. Basically it will not send messages...can access the internet no problems though.

2. Freezes all the time

3. Cannot view the gallery without it restarting itself.

4. Will not unlock until the fourth try frequently.

*here is a link to N95 forums with the whole story so far! (http://www.n95users.com/forum/its-broke/4393-getting-early-life-failure.html)

Ah thanks, but already running the most current firmware I can... V12.0.13, more a warning to other POTN users...

I feel the phone was released wayyyyyyyyy to early, eg still incredibly buggy....or I have a very bad one.

I have a N70. It's been replaced 2 times so far since xmas last year.
I think the N series is Nokias worst phones todate. I think QC must have gone out the window.

Having said that my mum has a N76 and it seems to be a good phone and the 2mp camera is the best one I have seen.

I think the worst phone is the XV-6700 (or PPC-6700 on Sprint).
I have this phone and it is terrible as a phone. works pretty good as a PDA, but other than that, it's crap.
Locks up while dialing a lot, takes about 4 rings before I can answer the phone (caller will hear 4 rings before mine starts to ring).
I am going to probably go with a normal phone since I normally just use my cell as a phone.

my n95 will be here in a few days. what provider do you have? I know with t-mobile you need to go in and have them set the phone up for mms messages. basicially it's just adding the t-zone stuff to your phone. However since mine will be an unlocked US version and you're down under it could be different.

Wow. I have an N80 and I love it. Who is your provider? Talk to them, and they can probably send the message settings to your phone or put them in there for you if you can't.

I'm on 3 in Australia.
The phone is probably okay, if you get a decent one... but right now I'm feeling like say I bought a bad copy of 24-70L 2.8 and they are trying to avoid replacing it. Eg yesterday I felt like castrating the lady on the other end of the phone...who just happens to be located in India, not Australia

*Ps im aware women cannot be castrated due to the lack of ....*

Yes, I find it amazing they are supposed to be the flagship range yet them seem to be very buggy, like they have been released two decades too early.

In the UK, the new XDA orbit is becoming very popular as it has built in GPS that actually works!

Might be a USA version somewhere!

Hmmm sounds nice but I think I'll be going to a new phone that isn't Symbian.

Basically just a "normal" phone.

The only phones that I would buy after working with phones for so long would be Nokia, HTC, and Samsung in that order!
