Here are some shots from the Montreeal Marche Publique an re-creation of an 18th Century public market.
This was a spon maker, one of the craftspersons there.

Really nice series here. But I've got to ask, what was he making the spoons with, not lead, I hope. ;)

Thanks mitch it was a fun day and I got a lot of excellent shots.
It is a pewter alloy that contains no lead, regulations don't allow them to use lead any more. Not sure of the exact mixture.

Must be some Tin alloy. I was just wondering, cause there aren't many metals you can melt in a wood fire. :)
